Pond Party

The puppy has not ventured into the pond until today.  Nova was having so much fun that Sassy got interested.  Friends can do that.  They can get you interested in things you never would have thought of before.  Friends can get you to play when you are unsure or need a little encouragement.

She was having so much fun, I was tempted to jump in!

Nova is running circles around Sassy.

Exuberant play!

Play is a gift from our creator.  Doesn’t this make you want to play?!

She is making another round.

Sassy gets a little in the way here.

She’s not quite sure that she can keep up with Nova.

Now, Sassy is trying to protect herself from getting completely clobbered.

But Nova trampled right over the top.

Sassy is letting Nova know that this is a little much for her.  I can just imagine her saying, “Tone it down a bit, please.”

Oh, well.

“I’ll just stay here and catch my breath.”

“She’s at it again!”

Rocky, the Yorkie, comes to check on Sassy.

“Oh, no!”

Nova is checking to see if everyone is having as much fun as she is.

Rocky must be imparting some advice to how to handle this large and playful friend.

“This is the secret…”

“I thought this was suppose to be fun.”

“Where did Nova go?”

“Hmmm… ”

“Let’s try it again!”
