There was a break in the rain early this morning so I grabbed my camera and hurried outside to see what was going on with our little one.
He was laying down in the pasture in the middle of the herd. Rocky had to say hello.
Hot Rod came over to admire the baby this morning. Oopsie seems unconcerned. What a difference a week can make!
After awhile, he had enough and popped up to come see what I was doing.
He went back to mama for a bit of breakfast.
Once he was done, he was ready to take on the world!

He is learning so much every day. New life is a wonder.
The Creator continues to create.
It boggles my mind to think that those many hours I spent in the fall sitting in a chemo chair, contemplating the big, heavy, serious questions of life, God was fashioning this beautiful foal in my very own backyard. His birth has coincided with the end of my treatments.
Every good and perfect gift is from above. He has been a good and perfect gift this spring.
I believe these ‘good and perfect gifts’ are lavishly given to all of us. We just have to open our eyes and see them.
I would love to hear about your ‘good and perfect gifts’ this spring.
I hope you have a great day!
God Bless!
Amy

The Father is so good to shower your heart and mind with his blessings and physical reminders like a baby foal to see daily! He is faithful. He is faithful. He is faithful!

A GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT: “Every common bush is alive with the fire of God.
Those who see it take off their shoes.” I love you, Amy. Dad
