My 2nd Stitch Fix arrived today.  You can see my first Stitch Fix here.

I was excited about the deep blue/purple top until I tried it on. It just didn’t fit right and was hard to get off and on.  The picture doesn’t do the color justice.  It was beautiful.

The blue and white silk blouse was a bad fit as well. I had trouble again getting it off and on.  It was really expensive and is all silk.

The black and cream was a better fit.  It was also a lot cheaper than the others and I have a new pair of cream pants that it will go with. I like the length. I think I may keep it.  The pattern is so busy. I may try a solid scarf with it to calm it down.

The Biege blazer was way too small and it washed me out.  I am sending it back.

The jeans were cute but they were way too long, even with heels.  I could have them hemmed but I don’t think I like them enough to go to all that trouble.

So there it is.

My friend, Toni, came by and helped me decide. She agreed with my choice. Thanks, Toni!

I was disappointed because there was nothing I was all that excited about, but the whole process was fun to me.

I am keeping the black and white top. It was $34 but when I subtract the $20 styling fee, it ended up being $14.  It seems better to keep one thing than to completely lose $20. I sent everything else back. I am revisiting my styling profile and my note to my stylist to try to get better results next time. I’m going to ask for no bottoms this time, just tops.  I am also lowering my price point to the cheapest. They seem to step a bit above what I have said is the highest price I will pay so I’ll see if that helps.

I am also going to delete my Pinterest board from my profile. I pinned a lot of clothes thinking that it would help me get better fixes but I think I pin more than I should. I see it on Pinterest and those clothes looks great on the 5’9 110lbs model.  I’m fooled into thinking that it would be a great look for me. It doesn’t always turn out to be true. 😊

If you have tried Stitch Fix, I’d love to hear how it has or has not worked out for you.
